UKSEE 2015: Application Form, Exam Date, Admission

Uttarakhand state entrance examination (UKSEE) is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University for the admission to the various graduate and postgraduate technical courses in the various private and government colleges situated in Uttarakhand through the proper channel of UTU counselling 2015.

The UKSEE 2015 exam will be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for the admission to the following courses:

• B.Pharmacy
• B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
• MCA
• BHMCT

The UKSEE exam is also conducted for lateral entry admission to various courses including B.Tech, MCA, and B.Pharmacy as per the given UKSEE syllabus 2015.

UKSEE 2015 application form will going to be announced in the month of April. The official date for the examination is not yet issued by the Uttarakhand Technical University.

Exam Date

The UKSEE exam is generally conducted in the third or 4^th week of May. The official date for the UKSEE entrance exam is not yet declared by UTU. So the candidates are advised to keep checking the website for regular update. The candidates may get the UKSEE result 2015 on the official site of the university.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the admission to various professional course through UKSEE Exam are as follows:

Engineering:

Passed diploma course in any discipline from a recognized institute approved by AICTE, with a minimum of 45% for general candidates (40% in case of reserved category).

Passed B.SC degree from a recognized university with min. 45% marks in case of general candidates and 40 % in case reserved category candidates.

The candidate must have studied math’s, up to class 12^th.

Pharmacy:

For getting admission into the pharmacy courses, the candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Maths/ Biotechnology.

MCA:

For getting admission to the MCA course, the candidate must have completed graduation with Maths as a subject and should have scored an aggregate of 45% for general candidates and 40% for reserved candidates.

Hotel Management:

The candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 45% (40% in case of reserved category).

UKSEE 2015 Exam Pattern

The UKSEE 2015 exam will consist of 9 papers; each paper will consist of objective type questions. The exam pattern for UKSEE exam is given below:

All questions are of objective type carrying equal marks

There is no provision of negative marking

There will be total of nine papers conducted for admission to different courses. The candidates can get the UKSEE preparation as per given schedule.

• Paper 1: Physics, Chemistry
• Paper 2: Mathematics
• Paper 3: Biology
• Paper 4: Aptitude and general awareness test for BHMCT
• Paper 5: Aptitude Test for MCA
• Paper 6: Aptitude test for Engg. Diploma holders (lateral entry)
• Paper 7: Aptitude test for pharmacy Diploma holders (lateral entry)
• Paper 8: Aptitude test for B.Sc degree holders (lateral entry)
• Paper 9: Aptitude test for MCA (lateral entry)

The candidates have to opt the following papers for the admission to various courses:

• B.Pharm: Paper 1and Paper2 or Paper3
• BHMCT: Paper 4
• MCA: Paper 5

The lateral entry students have to opt the following papers:

• For admission to B.Tech 2^nd year (Engg. Diploma holders): Paper 6
• For admission to B.Pharm 2^nd year (Pharmacy degree holders): Paper 7
• For admission to B.Tech 2^nd year (B.Sc degree holders): Paper 8

Uttarakhand JEEP 2015

Joint Engineering Examination Polytechnic (JEEP) is a Uttarakhand state level polytechnic examination which is also known as Uttarakhand Polytechnic (JEEP) examination. It has been conducted for the admission to the various institutions and government polytechnics those are offering the diploma or polytechnic courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy, fashion designing, hotel management, biotechnology and agriculture. It is also known as the UK JEEP. The examination is administrated, regulated and conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee(UBTER). The JEEP 2015 will be held on 3rd and 4th May 2015 across the UP state.

About UBTER

UBTER (Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee) is the regulatory board of technical education up to diploma or polytechnic level across the Uttarakhand state. The Board was established in the year 2003 by an act no. 27 of 2003 passed by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. The board is situated in Roorkee in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand Polytechnic (JEEP) 2015 Application Form

Thousands of students appear in the JEEP examination every year for the polytechnic courses in Uttarakhand. The application form for the session 2015-16 has been declared by the board. The application forms are available now at all Uttarakhand government polytechnics. The students are suggested to get the application form from there and submit it by the 10th March 2015 as the last date of submission the form. The application form can be obtained against the application fee as 250/- for the SC/ST categories (450/- for rest of the categories).

Eligibility

To the admission the students have to fulfill the following guidelines of eligibility for this examination. All aspiring students must be the citizens of India and the resident of Uttarakhand. There is no age limit for this examination except those candidates, who will appear for the diploma in pharmacy. They should be minimum 17 years of age as on 31^st December of the admission year. The candidates should have passed 10^th examination in any stream from the government recognized board. The applicant should be medically fit and will have to show the medical certificate issued by the government hospital. Candidates those do not having the domicile of the UK state can apply only if they have had the qualifying exam from the Uttarakhand.

How to apply

Students, those wish to apply for the JEEP Uttarakhand may get the application form through the government polytechnics of Uttarakhand or from the board office by payment of admission fees to the counter. The candidates must submit their filled application form to the board office or the government colleges. The candidates who are residing outside of the state can make requests for the application form by sending a DD of Rs. 39/- to the address of Board. The candidates may mail their application form to the Board address by post.

Application fees

The application fee is Rs. 450/- for general and the OBC candidates and Rs. 250/- for the candidates falling under SC/ST category.

Admission Procedure

The admissions will be done by ranks provided to the students as per their scores in the JEEP 2015 examinations. All admissions will be done through the Uttarakhand Polytechnic (JEEP) 2015 Counsellingprocedure conducted by the Board (UBTER).
