Goa Polytechnic 2015

Goa Polytechnic Entrance test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa for admission to the various diploma polytechnic courses in the field of engineering & technology, pharmacy and hotel management offered by the various government and non-government polytechnic institutions across the Goa state. The examination will be held on June 2015 (tentative).

Goa Polytechnic 2015 Application Form

The application form along with the prospectus will be available at the designated centres at Rs. 600/- (Cash) as application form fees along with prospectus. The candidates may get the application form by post (extra 10/- towards service charge) by sending a request to the address given below along with a DD of Rs. 600/- payable in favour of Director of Technical Education at Panaji. The candidates may download the application form from the official website of the board and submit the same in person at the designated and notified centres along with the DD of Rs. 600/- payable in favour of Director of Technical Education at Panaji. The candidates may submit the application form via online by following the guidelines prescribed by the board on its official site.

Eligibility

For admission to the polytechnic diploma courses the minimum eligibility to appear the Polytechnic Entrance 2015 are as the follows:
  • The candidates must be Indian (or NRI) and permanent resident of Goa state.
  • No age limit is required.
  • The candidates must be passed the 10th or secondary School Certificate examination of the Goa Board or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
  • The candidates must have 45% marks (40% for reserving categories) with science, mathematics and English for engineering courses.
  • For Hotel management and Catering technology the minimum marks should be 35% in HSSC in any discipline.
  • For food & garment technology the minimum marks should be 35% in SSC with science, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
  • For pharmacy the minimum marks should be 35% in HSSC with Physics, Chemistry, mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • For Modern Office Practice the minimum marks should be 35% in HSSC in any discipline.

Selection Process

The selection will be made by rank provided by the board on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Polytechnic and qualifying examination. The board will also add the additional marks to the merit in order to the sports and NCC quota.

GCET 2015

Goa Common Entrance Test 2015 will be conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa. The GCET 2015 is also known as the Goa CET 2015. This is a state level entrance examination for the admission to various institutions located in Goa state and offering the various UG courses in the field of Medical, Engineering, Architecture, Technology and Homeopathy.

GCET 2015 Notification

The DTE Goa has announced the notification about the date of examination for the admission to the MBBS, BDS and BHMS, BE/B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch courses as per the following schedule:

Eligibility

Before applying the application form the candidates are suggested to read the eligibility criteria carefully. The eligibility criteria for applying to the GCET 2015 is as the following:
  • The candidates must be completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December 2015 for Medical courses. For engineering, pharmacy and architecture courses, the age limits are not required.
  • For medical courses, the candidates must be passed HSC or 12th of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or its equal with English and secured least 50% marks (40% for reserving class and 45% for PH candidates) in Physics, chemistry and biology.
  • For engineering courses, the candidates must be passed HSC or 12th of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or its equal with English, physics and mathematics as compulsory and secured least 45% marks (40% for reserving class) in total of Physics, mathematics and optional subject (chemistry, biotechnology, computer science or biology).
  • For Pharmacy courses, the candidates must be passed HSC or 12th of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or its equal with English, physics and chemistry as compulsory and secured least 45% marks (40% for reserving class) in total of Physics, chemistry and optional subject (mathematics, biotechnology, computer science or biology).
  • For admission to the B.Arch, the candidates must have passed the NATA with valid scores. The candidates must be passed HSC or 12th of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or its equal.

GCET 2015 Application Form

The candidates may get the application form by cash payment of application fee (Application Brochure fee Rs. 900/- and examination fee Rs. 700/-) from the authorized centres in Goa. The out station candidates may get the application form by sending a request to the Director (DTE) at the address mentioned below along with the DD of the application fee to the favour of Director of Technical Education at Panaji. The candidates may also download the application form from the official site of the Board, and submit the same with filled details along with the DD of application fee, three photographs and photocopies of other relevant certificates to the authorized counters. The admit card will be issued only to candidates by hand. After the general prescribed date, the applications will be submitted with additional late fee of Rs. 1000/- only.

Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of four papers as physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology. Each paper will be of 2 hours duration with 75 multiple type questions about that subject only. Each correct answer will be awarded with one mark. For incorrect answer, no mark will be awarded. There will no negative marking in this examination. The examination will be in English language only. The questions will be composed from the 11th & 12th syllabus prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Selection Process

The selection will be made through the counselling process. The candidates will be ranked as per their individual score in GCET result 2015 and called for counselling. After the successful processing of counselling, the candidates will be allotted the institutions and seat as per their ranks.

Tripura JEE 2015

Tripura Board Joint Entrance Exam (TB JEE 2015) is an engineering entrance exam conducted by Directorate of higher education, Tripura. The exam is conducted for admission to various UG engineering courses in the government and private engineering colleges of Tripura. The TBJEE has been announced the application form and examination date of Tripura JEE 2015. The examination will be held on 22nd and 23rd April 2015 and the application form will start to issue from 12th January 2015 to 10th February 2015.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates appearing for the TBJEE exam 2015 must fulfill the eligibility criteria, as mentioned below:
The candidate applying for the exam must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Tripura state.
OR
The student parent must be living in Tripura state for a period of 10 years.
OR
Wards of Ex-service are eligible to appear in the exam if they provide proof of their parent residence in the state for a period of minimum 5 years.
The candidate appearing in the exam must have passed class 12th or other qualifying examination from a recognized education board.
Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the class 12th level.

The application form and prospectus of TB JEE 2015 can be obtained by cash, by post or can be downloaded from the official website from the date 12th January 2015 to 10th February 2015. The application form with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 80/- only.
Examination Fees
The candidates appearing for Tripura JEE 2015 exam have to pay the fees as mentioned below:
For General candidates: Rs 350
For SC & ST candidates: Rs.300
For BPL SC & ST candidates: Rs.200
For BPL General Candidates: Rs.250

Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the TB JEE 2015 exam must understand the exam pattern for scoring good marks in the examination. The details of the exam pattern are mentioned below:
There shall be 4 question papers for the duration of 2 hours each on the dates 22nd & 23rd April 2015 on 11:00 to 1:00pm and 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
The question paper will be from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
Each question paper will comprise in 50 question and carry the 100 marks, so the total marks in 4 papers will be 100×4= 400
The questions will be asked from the syllabus of class 11th and 12th (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics).
Questions will be of multiple choices with no negative marking.
Candidates those wish to apply for the engineering courses, have to appear the Group A paper which will be comprise in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates those wish to apply for the medical or other courses, have to appear the Group B paper which will be comprise in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates those wish to apply for the both (All), have to appear the Group C paper which will be comprise in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

Admission Procedure

The admission to the engineering colleges of Manipur will be based on the rank scored by the candidate in the TB JEE 2015 exam. The students who qualify the exam are called for the counseling and the seats are allotted as per their rank in Tripura JEE exam.
