Karnataka Polytechnic 2015

Karnataka polytechnic exam 2015 is conducted by Board of Technical education, Karnataka for the admission to various Polytechnic courses in the private and government polytechnic colleges of the state. Every year thousands of students appear for Karnataka Polytechnic exam to get admission in the various top polytechnic institutes of the state.

About the Conducting Body

The Directorate of Technical Education is the conducting body for diploma and degree courses in the Karnataka state. The Directorate is the main body responsible for monitoring and successfully conducting the polytechnic examinations in the state. The notification for the Karnataka polytechnic exam is issued by the directorate in the month of April/May 2015.
All those candidates who are looking to appear in the Karnataka polytechnic examination must check the notification regarding the examination issued by the directorate. Here we will update the information regarding polytechnic exams as soon as we will get any notification regarding the same.

Karnataka Polytechnic Admission 2015

Admission to the Polytechnic colleges of Karnataka will be based on the rank scored by the candidates in the Polytechnic exam. The candidates are admitted to the colleges after the counseling of Karnataka diploma exam. The admission to the 50% of the total seats are reserved for various groups of society, while admission to the rest 50%  are based on marks scored by the candidate in the SSLC or class 12th.

Eligibility

The candidates appearing for the Karnataka diploma exam must have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 35%. Only the candidates belonging to Karnataka or who have completed their 10th or 12th in Karnataka are allowed to appear in the exam.

Application 2015

The candidates can get the application form of Karnataka polytechnic from the government aided polytechnic colleges. The application form cost is Rs 100 for general category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST candidates.
