Punjab Joint Entrance Test 2015 (JET 2015) will be conducted by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh, for the admission in more than 28 polytechnic diploma course offered or proposed to offer by more than 130 institutions including government and private polytechnics. The JET is a state level entrance test for polytechnic admissions.
Application JET 2105
The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training announced every year a notification for the admission in diploma courses. The Punjab 2015 application form will be announced in the month of February 2015. The applications will be invited by the board from the eligible candidates of the state who wish to pursue the engineering or technology diploma courses. The candidates may get the application form from the designated branches of PNBs, polytechnics, schools, district education offices, deputy commissioner’s office and board office at a cost of Rs. 50/- only. The candidates may also download the application form from the official website of the board.

Seats
The board has decided the criteria of seats as 85% of total seats are reserved for those having the proof of residing in Punjab. The rest of the 15% seats are for the all India candidates as management quota. The candidates applying for the 85% state quota seats have to produce the domicile certificate or its equivalent at the time of counseling.
Eligibility for Examinations
The only candidates belong to Indian citizenship may apply. The aspirants should have passed or appearing the 10th examination with mathematics, science and English from the recognized central or state board. The candidates should have minimum 35% marks as compulsory. The students appearing the 10th examination may appear the JET 2015 examination provisionally. Their eligibility will be verified at the time of counseling by the Board.
JET 2105 Syllabus
The syllabus of JET 2015 will be based on the 9th and the 10th standard syllabus prescribed by the Punjab Board of Schooling Education. The JET 2015 will be consisted of four main subjects as mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and mental ability.
JET 2105 Pattern
There is the provision of negative marking. The JET 2015 is a multiple choice type examination consists of 200 objective type questions of total 200 marks based upon the syllabus of 10th class of Punjab Board. The examination is about 3 hours. The subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry carry the 150 questions as 50 marks for each and English and mental ability carries the 50 questions as 25 marks for each. To qualify the test and make eligible for the counseling, the general candidates must have to score the minimum of 10% of the total marks, beside the SC/ ST and OBC candidates must have to score the 5% marks of the total marks. All applicants are advised to carry the Punjab JET admit card 2015along with them to the examination hall.
