TNEA 2015 (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2015) is a state level entrance test for admission to the undergraduate B.E/ B.Tech degree courses offered by the institutions or colleges located in the limits of Tamil Nadu state. The TNEA 2015 will be conducted by the Anna University, Chennai. The following article will provide you the brief details of the application form, eligibility, admission process, seat allotments, important dates etc. The admission to engineering courses will be done through the all colleges of Tamil Nadu on the basis of rank scored by the candidates in state level TNEA 2015 examination or national level JEE Main 2015 examination.
TNEA 2015 Eligibility
The candidates should be the native of Tamil Nadu state are eligible to apply. The outside candidates studied their schooling in Tamil Nadu may also apply. The children of persons who have been serving in Public sector or government sector for the last five years in Tamil Nadu may also apply for TNEA 2015.
The candidates must have passed the 12th (intermediate) or its equivalent examination from the government recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with the percentage as 50% (for general candidates), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates.

TNEA 2015 Application Form
The TNEA application form 2015 will be available in both online and offline mode. The aspirants may download the application form from the official website of the Anna University by registering themselves in application portal. On the other hand, the candidates may get the application form by hand through the declared official centres of Anna University. The aspirants may request the application form via post only at the examination centre of the Anna University.
Application Fees
The application form fee through online mode will be Rs. 500/- for general candidates and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ OBC and other scheduled candidates. Through the offline mode, the application fee will be Rs. 700/- for general candidates and Rs. 450/- for SC/ST/ OBC and other scheduled candidates.
Required Documents
Candidates shall be required to affix the photocopies of required documents with the application form. The candidates shall be required the documents as the following:

- Mark sheet of 10th and 12th examinations
- Community Certificate
- Hall Ticket of 12th examination (In case of pursuing)
- Nativity Certificate (If applicable)
- Demand Draft
- Refugee Certificate (If applicable)

Exam Pattern
The TNEA 2015 exam paper will be the objective type question paper asked from the Intermediate subjects as math, physics and chemistry. The duration of paper will be of 2 & half hours. The examination will be held in English language only. The TNEA 2015 will comprise in 150 questions. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
