BCECE 2015: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) 2015 is a state level examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), government of Bihar. BCECE is also known as Bihar CET (Common Entrance Test). This is a common test for admission to various academic and professional degree courses offered by the government and private affiliated institutions located in Bihar state.

Courses

The candidates may get the admission to various UG courses in various disciplines of engineering, technology, agriculture and medical field. The preference is given to those candidates who are residents of Bihar state. The students from other states may also get the admission on the basis of quota.

The BCECE board has been issue the admission notification on 31st Jan 2015 on its official website  about the BCECE 2015 examination. The online registration will be open on 5th Feb 2015 and the examination will be held in two stages as on 19th April 2015 and 17th May 2015. the candidates may get the details through this article.

Eligibility

There is no minimum age limit for engineering and pharmacy  courses. The candidates must have a minimum age of 17 years as on 1st July 2015 for the medical and agriculture courses. Candidates should have passed the intermediate examination from a recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology with minimum 50% marks (relaxation for SC/ST as per rule).

Application Fees

The candidates belong to the PCM or PCB group are required to pay the application fees of Rs. 660/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 330/- (for SC and ST candidates). The candidates belong to PCMB group are required to pay the application fees of Rs. 730/- (for General and OBC candidates) or Rs. 365/- (for SC and ST candidates).

How to Apply

The aspirants those wishing to apply for this examination are required to visit the official website of Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The candidates are required to register online and get the user ID and password. Candidates are required to go to the link for payment submission and download the Challan form and take three printouts for the same. Application fees must be paid via a designated branch of SBI (State Bank of India).

Once you get your registration ID and bank Transaction ID, download the BCECE 2015 application formthrough the link provided for the same and start filling the form carefully. Scan and upload the passport size photograph and signature on application form then check through the application form and take the print out for the same.

The online application form along with the bank Challan and relevant documents like certificates and mark sheets of schooling must be sent to the BCECE Board via speed post or registered post. Candidates are required to mention the applied group as PCM/PCB or PCMB over the envelope used for sending the post including the superscript as “Application for BCECE – 2015”.

General Instructions

The applicants will be given the BCECE 2015 admit card through online. that admit card must be carry to the examination centre on the exam date. after the successful completion of the exam the board will declared the BCECE result 2015 through the official website. On the basis of result the qualified candidates will be called for the BCECE 2015 counselling. On the basis of counselling the candidates will be offered admission to the desired courses.

Exam Dates

The first phase examination will be held on 19th April 2015 and the second phase examination will be held on 17th May 2015. Some important dates are as the following:

• Starts of Online Registration – 5th Feb 2015 (10:00 am)
• End of Online Registration – 25th Feb 2015 (5:00 pm)
• Last date of fee submitting through Bank Challan – 28th Feb 2015
• Last date of filling the online application form – 4th march 2015
• last date of receiving the filled application form – 10th March 2015
