About JEE Exam 2015
Joint entrance exam JEE Main 2015 is the biggest engineering entrance exam of the country. The exam is given by millions of students every year for getting admission in various government and private engineering colleges of the country. The JEE Main exam is the first stage of 2 tier exam process conducted by CBSE, New Delhi. The JEE exam is divided in to two phases namely:
  • JEE Main
  • JEE Advance
The JEE Main exam is the first stage of the exam and is conducted every year in the month of April. The candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam with good rank are eligible for JEE Advance exam, for the admission to the top engineering colleges of the country including IIT’S, ISM and IIT-BHU.

The Board has been announced the correction period for the students those need to correct their application form via online through their user ID. The correction date will open from the 19th January 2015 to 31st January 2015. Students are suggested to Log-in through their ID with application number and password to make the correction.

On the other hand candidates who score good rank in JEE Main exam can get admission in various central and state government engineering colleges, including top private colleges or universities. Therefore the JEE Main exam 2015, is an important exam for the aspirants so as to get admission in their preferred institute or university.
In the year 2014, around 13 lakh student appeared for JEE Main exam. The JEE Main 2015 will be conducted in two modes online and offline. Online is the computer based exam and candidates will mark their answers on computers, whereas in offline mode candidate will write their exam on papers. The candidates will be selected on the basis of all India rank (AIR) calculated on the basis of JEE Main score and marks scored by candidates in class 12th in the ratio (60:40).
Before applying for JEE exam, students are advised to read the JEE Main 2015 Eligibility criteria once.

JEE Main 2015 Exam Date

The JEE Main 2015 exam date and official notification will be announced by CBSE in the month of November, the expected date for the JEE Main 2015 exam will be in the 2nd week of April. JEE Main Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the exam, must be aware about the JEE Main exam pattern and syllabus 2015, so that they can start their preparation according to that and able to score good rank in the examination. The examination pattern for the JEE Main exam is discussed below:
The JEE Main paper 1 will be held in two modes i.e. online and offline, candidate have to indicate the same while filling the application form. The details about the JEE exams are mentioned below:
Duration of exam- 3 hours
Paper 1 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Paper 2 sections- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Drawing and Aptitude test.
Total Questions- 90
Max. Marks- 360
Marks for correct Answer- 4
Negative Marking- ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer
The candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2015 are advised to understand the exam pattern and practice from the previous year JEE papers so that they can understand the format and aware about the type of questions asked in the examinations.
JEE Main Admit Card
The candidate can download the JEE Main admit card from the official website of the JEE Main from the 1st March, 2015 onwards. Candidates will be required to enter their application no. and password for downloading their JEE Main admit card.
JEE Main Result 2015
The candidates are informed that JEE Main 2015 results will be declared in the official website on 7th July, 2015. After the result will be announced the candidates can appear for JEE Main counselling scheduled to be held in the month of July, 2015.
