About course
Electronics engineering equips students with designing, analysis and manufacturing of electronic devices (including wireless devices), integrated circuits and so on. This discipline has non-linear and active electronic components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems, typically also including passive electrical components and based on printed circuit boards. Being one of the fastest growing fields of engineering, there is a lot of scope for innovation and at the same time scope of employment too in this field. Electronics plays a significant role in increasing the efficiency level of productivity in major industries including energy, agriculture, petroleum, chemical and lot of other industries. Even health care industry uses electronic instruments to perform various tests. Electronics engineering is also involved in transport, factory and domestic sectors. The electronics engineer’s task is to process information using electricity.
