Centurion University of Technology and Management (School Of Engineering and Technology), Bhubaneswar established through an act of state legislative assembly in 2010, the core objective of Centurion University of Technology and Management (first privately managed multi sector state university of Odisha) is to ‘shape lives and empower communities’. The objective is achieved through education and training, financial services and other projects.The university has five campuses at Paralakhemundi, Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Rayagada and Chatrapur. CUTM delivers Certificate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Programs in Natural Science, Agriculture, Engineering and Management. Some of the unique features of the University are its focus on practical applications of knowledge; field and project based teaching through integration of academia, industry and civil society organizations.Centurion University (through its social outreach entity, Gram Tarang) is one of the first partner to National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to set up over 50 Skill Training and Capacity Building Centres across the country. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
