G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (For Women), sponsored by G.Pulla Reddy Charities Trust was started on 15th December 1997. Sri G.Pulla Reddy was an eminent business man of great integrity and impeccable reputation. His business of vending sweets of surpassing taste and purity has earned him a celebrity status all over Andhra Pradesh. Though a man of minimum qualification he became an educationist par excellence by starting a number of educational institutions of varied dimensions in Kurnool and Hyderabad. He was the Chairman of G.Pulla Reddy Charities Trust and under his pragmatic guidance G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (for women) has recorded phenomenal growth in a short span of time. On 15th December 1997 he started an Engineering College for women with the key notion of uplifting the role of women in society and empowering them with an increasing awareness. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters.
