Amrita Center for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine, Kochi was established in 2009. It is one of India's first Nanobio Center, is recognized today as a leader in Nanotechnology, Molecular Medicine and Solar Cell research as well as education. The centre also hosts a Nano solar centre for excellence which focuses on innovative product development in Photovoltaics and storage devices using Nanomaterials.Amrita Ceter for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine is the first recognized center for Nanosciences, Molecular Medicine and Solar cell research. It had hosted NanoBio, The world's First Tissue Engineering and Stem cell Research conference. The faculties and Delegates include Scientists and Research Associates from different parts of the world. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
