The institute is affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and H.P. Govt. The group institutions at present have presence in Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana. This institute is very much trying to bring international industry leaders like Microsoft, IBM and Intel etc. so that quality and standard of Indian education may be set up to international standard.Apart from bringing most advances and innovative courses, the institute has also introduced four new courses Bachelor of Hotel Management, Bachelor of Mass Communication, Master of Mass Communication and Master of Science (Computer Science) at the Shimla campus.
