Uttarakhand Entrance Examination 2015 

The Uttarakhand Technical University as been assigned the task of conducting UKSEE for admission to B.Pharm, Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHMCT), MCA Courses, 1st year 2015 B.Tech Lateral Entry/ B.Pharm Lateral Entry, MCA Lateral Entry 2nd year 2015 in Various Universities/Govt Colleges /Self Financed Institution of Uttarakhand for the academic year 2015-16

The UKSEE 2015 Exam will be conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for the admission to the following courses:

i. B.Pharmacy

ii. B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

iii. MCA

iv. BHMCT

UKSEE 2015 Eligibility

UKSEE Entrance Exam Qualification and Eligibility Requirements:

i. Engineering and Technology: Lateral entry to IInd year

A) Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institute with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology

B) Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics a subject

ii. Pharmacy: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject

iii. Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Candidates should have passed 10+2 exam; obtained at least 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination

iv. MCA Program: Candidates should have recgonized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination

v. Lateral Entry to MCA Program: Candidates should have recognised bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level and should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination

Note

i. Those appearing in qualifying examination may also appear in entrance examination for consideration of Provisional Admission

ii. Candidates whose result of qualifying exam is not declared at the time of counseling they will not be allowed to appear in the counseling

iii. For B.Tech Lateral Entry Counseling, first preference will be given to diploma holder and thereafter seats will be allotted to B.Sc holder candidates

UKSEE 2015 for Reservations

In Government Funded Institutes, the reservations for Uttarakhand candidates will apply as per Uttarakhand Govt. rules and for all India seats, the reservations will be applicable as per the Central Govt. rules

For courses conducted by University Depts./Govt. Engineering Colleges/Institutes, the intake will be through UKSEE-2015 only and the seats will be reserved as per norms of Uttarakhand Govt.

For self-financing institutes the reservation will be as per norms applicable at the time of counselling

UKSEE 2015 for Exam Pattern

UKSEE 2015 will be conducted for nine papers with objective type questions; the candidates are required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination

1. Scoring

i. All objective type questions (four options with single correction answer) would carry one mark for each correct answer
ii. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response
iii. There will be no negative marking in objective type question paper. However, a record of incorrect answer given by a candidate will be kept separately
In case two or more candidates secure same total marks, inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be first determined by the number of incorrect answers given by the candidate
iv. All objective type questions are required to be answered on specially designed OMR answer sheets
v. Answers are to be marked using ball point pen (Black/Blue) only. For the purpose of evaluation, Test Booklet Code written by the candidate in OMR answer sheet will be accepted as final

2. Papers and Subjects in the Entrance Exa

Paper 1 - Physics & Chemistry: 150 objective type questions with equal weightate to Physics and Chemistry (50 marks)
Paper 2 - Mathematics: 75 objective type questions (75 marks)
Paper 3 - Bioloty: 75 objective type questions with equal weightage to Botany and Zoology (75 marks)
Paper 4 - Aptitude Test for General Awareness: 75 objective type questions (75 marks)
Paper 5 - Aptitude Test for MCA: 100 objective type questions (100 marks)
Paper 6 - Aptitude Test for Engg Diploma Holders (Lateral Entry): 75 objective type questions (75 marks)
Paper 7 - Aptitude Test for Pharmacy Diploma Holders (Lateral Entry): 75 objective type questions (75 marks)
Paper 8 - Aptitude Test for B.Sc Graduates (Lateral Entry): 75 objective type questions (75 marks)
Paper 9 - Aptitude Test for MCA (Lateral Entry) for BCA/B.Sc CS/IT Studies: 75 objective type questions (75 marks)

UKSEE 2015 Written Test Centres

The admission test will be held at various centres listed below, however, Co-ordination Committee UKSEE 2015 reserves the right to allot or cancel any centre

However, guarantee cannot be given in this connection and the decision of the Co-ordination Committee, UKSEE 2015 shall be final

UKSEE Application Form

The cost of Brochure /Application Form Inclusive of Examination Fee is Rs.1000/- for General /OBC Candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates with Rs.125/- additional as handing charges

The Information Brochure containing Application Form are available for Sale from 25th April 2015 to 30th May 2015 by paying Rs.1000/- for General /OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates with Rs.125/- additional as handling charges in cash from

a) Post Office of Dehradun GPO, Roorkee HO, Kotdwar HO, Haldwani HO, Rudrapur, Ramnagar, Mussorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh MDG, Rudraprayag, Pauri, Srinagar, Tehri, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Vikasnagar, Chakrata, Khatima and outside of Uttarakhand from Post Office of New Delhi GPO

b) Application Forms will also be available for sale from Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun (Uttarakhand)

UKSEE 2015 Admit Card

The Admit Card bearing information like Roll number and Address of Examination Centre for the UKSEE 2015 Application Form. All candidates should normally receive the Admit Card by 10th June 2015

If any candidates fails to receive the Admit Card by 10th June 2015 he/she should inform either through e-mail (exams.utu@gmail.com) giving his/her details as filled in the form

Admit card can also be downloaded from website www.uktech.ac.in by filled date of birth and name
