Courses offered & Eligibility Details
Postgraduate Programmes in Architecture
i. Master of Architecture (Conservation)
ii. Master of Architecture (Landscape)
iii. Master of Architecture (Urban Design)
ii. Master of Architecture (Landscape)
iii. Master of Architecture (Urban Design)
Eligibility: Post Graduate Programme in Architecture - B.Arch or B.Plan with minimum one year of experience with minimum 55% marks in aggregate
Postgraduate Programmes in Planning
i. Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)
ii. Master of Planning (Environmental Planning)
ii. Master of Planning (Environmental Planning)
Eligibility: Master of Planning Programmes - Minimum 55% marks in aggregate in B.Arch/ B.Plan OR B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Sc/ M.A in Geography/ Economics/ Sociology
Doctoral Programme
Eligibility: Master degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Technology/ Design disciplines or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks, OR B.Arch/B.Plan Degree with minimum 60% marks and with minimum 5 years of professional experience and atleast one publication in Journal/ Conference proceedings
Fellowship: All Candidates with valid GATE/ NET score will be eligible for fellowship as per GOI norms
How to Apply
Candidates should download the application form from the website (www.spabhopal.ac.in), attach attested copies of educational testimonials and send at “Assistant Registrar (Admissions), School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, Present Campus: Sports, Complex, MANIT Bhopal”, Madhya Pradesh-462051
The following documents (if applicable) should be enclosed along with the application form:
i) Self attested copy of valid GATE score or UGC/NET fellowship
ii) Self attested copy of final mark lists & Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination
iii) In the case of candidates who have appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination, self attested copies of the latest marksheets are to be submitted. Final marksheets and provisional degree certificate are required to be submitted by 15th Sept.-2015, (if admitted) failing which admission will be cancelled
iv) Self attested copy of proof of date of birth
v) Self attested copy of certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates from a Competent Authority (Not bellow rank of a Tahsildar)
vi) Self attested copy of certificate in the case of OBC candidates from a Competent Authority (not below the rank of a Tahsildar)
vii) Self attested copy of experience certificate
viii) Research proposal (use separate sheets, 500 words approximately for Doctoral Program)
ix) Statement of Purpose (use separate sheets, 200 words approx for Masters Programs)
x) Sponsorship certificate duly filled by the Sponsoring Authority (with the seal of the Sponsoring Authority) in the prescribed format
xi) Self attested copy of proof of all research publications in journal and conference
xii) Demand draft towards application fee as per the category of the candidate

Application Fee:
For Master Degree Programme, a candidates can apply for Single Programme with a requisite application fee of Rs.1000/- (for Gen/OBC) Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD) and for more than one Programme (upto all five) Rs.2000/- (for Gen/OBC), Rs.1000/- (for SC/ST/PWD) on a single application form
For Doctoral Programme; a candidates can apply with a requisite application fee of Rs.1000/- (for Gen/OBC), Rs.500/- (for SC/ST/PWD)
Applications with all the above enclosures should be sent in time so as to reach the "Assistant Registrar (Academic), School of Planning and Architecture, Neelbud Road, Bhauri, Bhopal-462030" on or before 22nd May 2015
Applications received late for whatsoever reasons will be rejected/ returned
