Welcome to the “Temple of Excellence in Engineering Education”. The 2012 batch is special to us as it coincides with a new milestone of RIET. Another feather to our cap, the first Institute affiliated to the University of Kerala to offer B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.
In a short span of time, RIET has been able to establish itself as a premium centre for engineering education in the state.The year 2012 will see dramatic changes to our academic structure, through extensive collaborations with Corporate Houses and International Universities. The institute is gearing up to meet the demands of the students and the corporate sector by evolving a unique approach of teaching & learning. Several new initiatives are on the cards like exclusive MoUs with Multi-National Companies for placement & value added corporate certifications for students.
Our faculty both from Academia & Industry, undergo comprehensive training at IITs, IISc and Foreign Universities under the “Faculty Development Scheme”. All faculty members are encouraged to take up research projects & consultancies, write research papers & articles in national/international journals to update their scientific base. Such activities provide a broader, application oriented perspective, which ultimately benefit our students.
We strive to give our students the best learning ambience coupled with impeccable education to enable them to acquire knowledge, skills and attitude, to realise their dream of a bright future and thus stand out in their profession.
