About Hi-Tech Institute of Technology, Aurangabad
The HITA is established from the academic year 2001-2002 for imparting professional training in engineering discipline to the new generation. The engineering program at HITA is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. B.A.M. University, Aurangabad. The Institute has all the required infrastructure as prescribed and verified by the all India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. This college is situated in its own campus of 30 acres of land in industrial area of Aurangabad. Aurangabad is central place in Maharashtra, the fastest developing Industrial Center in India. The institute is promoted by successful and experienced industrial entrepreneurs & therefore the students have good opportunity of continuous interaction with various industries & better placements facilities.That is, we have to produce engineers who can operate efficiently across the globe, who can excel in a multi culture environment, and who can negotiate confidently across culture. Further, we have to benchmark ourselves on a global scale with the best engineering education institutions and become the institution –of-choice for the best students residing all over country. Admission Procedure
- Selection of Candidate should be 10+2 pass or Intermediate.
- Admission into B.Tech courses of the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa shall be based on criteria decided by the academic council of the University. There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited of NRI students. The University (BPUT) and the examination conducting authority Odisha Joint Entrance Examination shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE.
- The student should at least have qualified in one of the entrance examinations of JEE (Main) or AIEEE. Admission of a total 75% of seats in B.Tech courses are taken from the merit list of OJEE conducted by Govt. of Odisha and 15% from AIEEE conducted on all India basis by CBSE , New Delhi , Govt of India , how ever the final distribution of seats , as per the decision of Govt. Of Orissa Policy Planning Body. Rest 10% seats will be filled up through JEE (main) candidates and OJEE / AIEEE Rank holders

- HIT is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management. It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian food. Snacks and soft drinks are also available. Modern cooking equipment’s that include steam boilers for rice and vegetables have been installed with the aim of providing wholesome food. The college canteen has the capacity to accommodate almost 400 students at any time. Both North Indian and South Indian dishes are served in the daily menu for the hoteliers. Day-scholars can benefit from an annual concession scheme or opt for a token scheme that is issued on a day-to-day basis.
