OJEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to become eligible for the application and counselling process. Read the conditions of eligibility in the following article:

• It is necessary for the candidate to attempt JEE Main 2015 and obtain a valid AIR, state rank.
• Candidate must satisfy the terms mentioned in JEE Main 2015 Eligibility.
• He must have passed class XII or equivalent exam in either 2013 or 2014 to become eligible.
• It is required to pass the exam with at least 5 subjects as per Odisha JEE 2015 Eligibility.
• Candidate must be born on or after 1^st week of October 1990 (1985 for SC/ST and PwD).
• He must score a minimum percentage aggregate of 50% in qualifying exam.
• Allowed subject combo – Math and Physics as compulsory and any one of Chemistry, Bio – Technology, Biology and Computer Science as optional subject.

OJEE 2015 Examination

Examination shall be held for admissions in medical, pharmaceutical, engineering (B.Tech) and agricultural programs instead of engineering regular program. Candidates interested in taking admission in MBBS, B.Pharma, B.Tech (LEET)., B.Sc (Horticulture) are still required to give the Odisha JEE 2015 Exam. Till last year, there was a joint exam for all these courses including B.Tech regular course, but later on, B.Tech was removed from the process.

This was to ensure implementation of one nation one exam policy proposed by former HRD minister, Mr.Kapil Sibbal. The details of the exam are yet to be released, however necessary updates will be made here once the brochure for the same is released. Candidates wanting to get admission in B.Tech (Regular) have to attempt JEE MAIN 2015.
