		The Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Education Research (MAEER), Pune established in 1983 is a well-known educational trust having registered office in Pune. The MAEER is a multi-campus and multi-disciplinary organization conducting AICTE / MCI / University approved academic programs in Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Medicine. The MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAoE)was established in the year 1999. It is affiliated to the University of Pune and is approved and accredited by AICTE. The MIT Academy of Engineering offers University approved UG and PG Programmes in engineering and management. The college has modern, state-of-the-art infrastructure appropriate to conduct to engineering education. The college has qualified and experienced faculty engaged in teaching and research. All academic departments offering undergraduate BE degrees in Engineering belong to one of these branch BE in Computer Engineering BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering BE in Electronics Engineering BE in Chemical Engineering BE in Information Technology BE in Mechanical Engineering Eligibility to take admission in BE engineering course at MITAoE pune Passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks for OBC candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. For details refer Government of Maharashtra (DTE) website : www.dte.org.in a) For the candidate of Maharashtra State (domicile) In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates are required to appear for MHT-CET 2013 and secure nonzero score to be eligible for admission for State Quota (65%) seats through Central Assessment Process (CAP). b) For candidates outside of Maharashtra State In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra State as well as outside Maharashtra State are required to appear & qualify in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2013) conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academic Year – 2013-14 to be eligible for admission. c) For the candidates wishing admission under Management Quota /Nri Quota Students from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified, are eligible for Management Quota seats provided they have appeared for MHT-CET 2013 conducted by the competent Authority or conducted by an agency (if any) including Association of all Pvt. colleges approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samittee. However, they are required to apply separately to the Management of the respective institutes for these seats. d) For Diploma holder students After admissions of students fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned at para (a, b & c) above, if the vacancies still exist after the cut-off date declared by the concerned Government authority, the Principal may admit diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering / Technology with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnics situated in or outside the MH State (for outside Maharashtra State Candidates). Such admissions are also as per merit of candidates applied for the particular un-aided college. Fee Structure The fee structure of the college will be as per the approval by the Shikshan Shulk Samittee.
