However, until last year the B.Tech Biotechnology admission in the University was done on the basis of AIPMT score. Hence, it expected that Biotechnology seats will be filled via NEET 2017. Thapar University B.Tech 2017 Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria contains set of rules and conditions which shows the eligibility of candidates for Thapar University 2017 B.tech Admissions.

·         Candidates should be citizen of India.

·         Candidates should have passed 12th class exam.

·         Applicants should have Physics,Mathematics as their compulsion subjects with Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technlogy/Computers as an optional subject.

• Candidates will be generated to the Thapar B.Tech 2017 Application Form page and chose the programmes therein.
• Candidates will see the Eligibility, Apply Now and How to Apply links. Click on ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Click on ‘Create New Account’ and fill in the details asked i.e. Username and Password must be provided. Already registered students can login
• After creating account/login candidates must fill the personal details, academic details, preferences of the programs and upload photograph & signature and Click on ‘Submit’ button.

Application Fees

• The application fees for B.Tech Engineering course is Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable).
• Candidates can pay the fees through online mode or offline mode (Demand Draft) and the application form can be sent via Post/ Fax/Courier and also by hand.
• The printed application form should be sent to In-charge Admission Cell’ Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology University, Patiala (Punjab)-147 004.
• Candidates must attach their caste certificate, if applicable, along with the Application Form.

Note: Print the application form after payment. However if the payment is through online mode they need not sent the application form but must keep it safely for counselling process.
