Eligibility at BMS College of Engineering Bangalore
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination (with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as Optional Subjects with English as one of the languages of study) conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any Other Examination recognized as equivalent by the Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU) with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate of optional subjects.
- SC/ST & Category I (Karnataka Students Only), the minimum percentage of marks shall not be less than 40% in the optional subjects as per rules.

BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore is an

The engineering college, started in the year 1946 by BM
Sreenivasiah, was one of the first private sector initiatives in technical
education in India and is run by the BMS Educational Trust today.
