Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2017

• Applicants must have qualified the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics and sufficient proficiency in English.
• Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects (if taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or at least 75% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics and Biology subjects (if taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th examination, with scoring a minimum of 60% marks in each of the Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics / Biology subjects.
• Those who are pursuing for 12^th examination in 2017 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in the online test.
• Candidates who have done 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or before are not eligible to apply.
• If applicant has taken more than one attempt in 12th examination or its equivalent, only his/her recent percentage/scores is considered, but this attempt has been for the full module of subjects and courses prescribed.

Important Points

• Students who are already studying in BITS at any of its campuses are also not allowed to appear in BITSAT 2017.
• The final selection of the candidates will be made truly on the basis of merit. The merit of the candidates for admission will be made through the scores obtained by them in the BITSAT 2017.
