About WBJEEM 2015

WBJEEM 2015 the common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate level courses  of  BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm  and  MBBS/BDS  offered  in  different  Universities /Colleges in West Bengal for the academic session 2015-2016 will be held on 18 th(Saturday) and 19th (Sunday) of April, 2015.

Date of WBJEEM Exam: Saturday, April 18, 2015 and Sunday, April 19, 2015

Eligibility Criteria of  WBJEEM 2015

WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria for Engineering / Technology Courses (For Jadavpur University):

• Applicant must be citizen of India.
• Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/PwD).
• They must have studied Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science) as optional subjects.
• They must have secured at least 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates).
• Candidates must also have individual pass marks in each of Physics,Mathematics, English as well as the optional subject chosen (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science)).
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2015.

WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria for Marine Engineering:

• Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination.
• They must have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST/PwD).
• They must have secured at least 50% marks in English (for all categories of candidates).
• Candidates must also have individual pass marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth) subject.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2015. They must not be above 25 years of age as on 31 July, 2015.

WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria for Residential/Domicile purposes:
Candidates must have been residents of West Bengal for a consecutive period of 10 years as on December 31, 2014

OR

The parents of the candidates must be permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent West Bengal home address.

Requirement of Domicile Certificate:

• State-Aided Universities do not require a domicile certificate.
• Government Engg /Technical Colleges: Domicile Certificate is mandatory.
• Self Financed Institutes do not require a domicile certificate.
• Note: Domicile Certificate is mandatory for Reserved Category candidates.

Procedures To Apply for  WBJEEM 2015

• Interested applicants in the WBJEE exam 2015, they can apply application form through the online mode from the WBJEE official website.
• And applicants need to pay application form fee is Rs.500/-.
• When they fill application form then attach photo and signature and click on the submit button and take a print out for your reference.

They can send application form in prescribed format with necessary documents copies to the following address
