VITEEE 2016

VITEEE 2016 - VIT University had conducted VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2016 for granting admissions to various undergraduate engineering programmes. Admissions to its two campuses, Chennai and Vellore, will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE 2016. There are nearly 5,000 B.Tech seats for which around two lakh candidates register and appear every year.

VITEEE 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam and filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria to know if he/she is eligible for the admission. The VITEEE eligibility criteria will circumference the areas like the age, education and nationality. Candidates must meet these criteria, else the admission will not be granted.

Following are the clauses of VITEEE 2016 eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must be born on or after 1 July 1994.
• Only candidates who have studied in Regular/Full-Time/Formal Education institutes are eligible.
• It is necessary to complete class XII or any equivalent examination from a state or central recognized education board OR Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board OR HSC examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) examination.
• He/she must have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology (50% for SC/ST and candidates from Jammu Kashmir and Northeastern states candidates).
• Now, candidates who have passed the qualified examination from NIOS are also eligible to write VITEEE

VITEEE 2016 Exam Centers

To do the VITEEE slot booking 2016, candidates will first have to select a Test City. Without selecting the city, candidates will not be able to see the available slots and dates. VITEEE 2016 Exam Pattern:
VIT University had provided the details of VITEEE 2016 Exam Pattern. Check below-

All questions were of objective type and as per the exam pattern. Each question was followed by four alternative answers and the candidates had to select the right option. Candidates were given two and half hours to complete the online test. There was no negative marking for wrong answers.

VITEEE 2016 Sample Papers:
Sample Papers of VITEEE 2016 were useful to students in their preparation period when they are advised by experts to practise as much as possible. These practice papers were helpful for students in knowing the exam pattern and for understanding the difficulty levels of the exam, types of questions asked etc. VITEEE 2016 Model Papers were similar to the actual question paper of this national level engineering test, which is conducted for admissions to VIT campuses- Vellore and Chennai.
